Working closely with Magnum Foundation leadership, I lead the design of their first digital framework supporting independent, long-form visual storytelling on social issues.
Magnum Foundation, the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture, and the Prince Claus Fund partnered with Uncorked Studios to design and build a website showcasing the growing collection of projects from the Arab Documentary Photography Program.
Magnum Foundation has been at the forefront of creating experimental new models for projects that pave the way for an expansive, diverse, and creative future for documentary photography.
Throughout the design process, it was incredibly important to give these photographs the respect they truly deserved.
We created a complex and responsive layout system that considers the aspect ratio of every image, ensuring there are no unintended crops or overlays.
The result ensures that all future artwork submitted to ADPP will be viewed exactly as it was intended.
